Dr. R.W. "Bill" Hamilton
Dr. Bill Hamilton is a physiologist and a former fighter pilot with over 35
years of R&D experience in decompression, diving, and environmental
physiology. His specialty areas are breathing gases, the effects of
pressure, human performance, life support, and handling operational dive
data. In the laboratory he has worked with oxygen exposure, role of gases
in decompression, saturation diving, HPNS, hyperbaric welding, chamber fire
safety, and spacecraft atmospheres, in support of commercial, military,
scientific and recreational diving. His decompression and gas management
techniques were instrumental in the development of technical diving, and he
has worked out practical methods for managing exposure to oxygen.
